Arroyo Valley High School is a program rich environment that offers endless opportunities in and out of the classroom. To signify your accomplishments above and beyond grades, cords are awarded to students that meet program criteria.
In the CORE academy, students are awarded cords based on their program participation. Participation points are earned over the course of your high school career in the form of CORE POINTS.
It is the sole responsibility of the student to understand and keep track of ones CORE points. Signing in/out, seeking community service opportunities, attending tutoring and other academy events are essential parts of being a part of something bigger than grades: dedication and passion.
Below is a list of ways students earn points and how many you need to qualify for your cords. Don't forget to keep track!!
